THE ROUTE

The riders to fly to Vladivostok at the end of April 2005 and join their BMW 1150 GS Adventure motorcycles (6/7) and X3 vehicles (2) already shipped there from the UK. They then ride from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg on the following route:

Vladivostok – Khabarovsk – Chita – Ulan Ude – Irkutsk – Angarsk – Sheliykov – Krasnoyarsk (and possibly Bratsk and Achinsk) – Novosibirsk – Tyumen – Yekaterinburg – Perm – Samara (possibly) – Nizhniy Novgorod – Vladimir – Moscow – Tver – Velikiy Novgorod – St. Petersburg, a distance of at least 6000 miles. It is the intention to arrive in St Petersburg in the early part of June.
